The ready-to-use IDBRAF kit is a multiplexed and sensitive tool for the detection and quantification by digital PCR （dPCR） of BRAF's mutations （B-Rad proto-oncogene, serine/threonine kinase） in exon 15.
The BRAF gene, located on chromosome 7q34, plays a major signal transduction role within the MAPK pathway. V600E mutation, which is the most common, accounts for more than 85％ of BRAF mutations in metastatic melanoma, more than 50％ in metastatic non-small cell lung carcinoma （NSCLC） and more than 11％ in metastatic colon cancer. V600E mutation results in a permanent and unregulated activation of the MAPK pathway without any upstream extrinsic activating signal.

The ready-to-use IDPIK3CA kit is a multiplexed and sensitive tool for the detection and quantification by digital PCR （dPCR） of mutations in the PIK3CA gene （phosphatidylinositol-4,5-bisphosphate 3-kinase catalytic subunit alpha）.
The PI3K/AKT pathway plays a key role in several cellular functions, including apoptosis and proliferation. This pathway can be directly activated by activation of EGFR or via the RAS proteins. Colorectal, cerebral and gastric cancers exhibit a high rate of PIK3CA gene mutations with respective frequencies of 32％, 27％ and 25％. Breast and lung cancers have a relatively lower rate of PIK3CA mutations （8％ and 4％ respectively）. These somatic mutations are dispersed in most exons but are mainly found in the kinase and helical domains of the PIK3CA subunits, located on exon 9 （E542K, E545K, Q546K） and 20 （H1047R, H1047L）.

Telomerase is an RNA-dependent DNA polymerase that maintains chromosome length by adding the telomere, a TG-rich structure, to each end of the chromosome. Mutations of the TERT gene promoter, located at 5p15.33, have been identified in several tumors` types, such as glioblastomas （69％）, oligodendrogliomas （68％） and anaplastic oligoastrocytomas （44％）. Such mutations are as a new interesting biomarker for the brain tumor classification by molecular biology. These alterations are associated to poor prognosis in many cancers, such as bladder tumors （66％）, anaplastic thyroid tumors （42％）, cutaneous and basal cell squamous cell carcinomas （59 and 41％）.
