Properdin on platelet/granulocyte aggregates(PGA) formation are tightly regulated by Factor H, properdin enhances PGA formation via increased production of C5a, and that inhibition of properdin function has therapeutic potential to limit thromboinflammation in diseases characterized by increased PGA formation.
