Background：CD43 is mainly marked on T cells and expressed in normal T lymphocytes, myeloid cells, macrophages and plasma cells. Normal B cells or reactive B cells are CD43-. Expression of CD43 in various lymphatic hematopoietic tumors is complex. 90％ T lymphocytic lymphoma are CD43+, 30％ low grade B cell lymphoma are CD43+, 69％ B cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia are CD43+, 97％ T cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia are CD43+, 44％ anaplastic large cell lymphoma are CD43+, all extramedullary myeloma / granulocytic sarcoma are CD43+, and part of myeloma CD43 are positive. It is usually detected combined with other T cell markers such as CD3 and CD45RO for diagnosis of T cell lymphoma.
