HNPCs are initiated by dissecting fetal brain tissue and digestion with collagenase. RFP expressing HNPCs （RFP-HNPCs） are selected from RFP expressing lentiviruses infected HNPCs. RFP-HNPCs are offered in frozen vial format （the cells are provided @ passage 2）. RFP-HNPCs growth medium is recommended for cell culture and these cells have a minimum average population doubling capacity ＆gt; 6 when cultured following the detailed protocol described below.
