特異性:This item detects an epitope within the internal region of human Paired basic amino acid cleaving system 4 (PACE4). PACE4 belongs to the subtilisin-like proprotein convertase family, and is a 100kD calcium dependent serine endoprotease located in the endoplasmic reticulum. It cleaves its substrates at their paired basic amino acid processing sites, converting them into their biologically active products. Several PACE4 substrates have been identified, including transforming growth factor beta-related proteins, proalbumin and von Willebrand factor. In mouse, PACE4 has been shown to increase tumor cell invasiveness, and thus enhance tumor progression. It is thought to have a similar role in humans.
