特異性：This item recognises the carboxy terminus of neurofilament M (NF-M), one of three neurofilament proteins (NF-H, NF-M and NF-L). Neurofilaments are 10nm or intermediate filaments found specifically in neurons, with especially high concentrations along the axons, where they appear to control axonal diameter. It is thought that phosphorylation of NF-M results in the formation of interfilament cross-bridges that are important in the maintenance of axonal calibre.Clone 3H11 has also been determined to bind to a C- terminal epitope of bovine NF-M SEE IMAGE.
