The protein is also reported to play a a role in the activation of NF kappa B and the regulation of cyclins and cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitors (CDKIs). Regulators of XIAP activity include XAF-1 and Smac. This item detects a band of approximately 57KDa in human kidney lysates.
