Purity：Purified by Protein A affinity chromatography from ascites.
Form：Supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.2. Labeled with Allophycocyanin (APC).
Specificity：Recognizes human J Chain as tested by ELISA using purified human Ig fragments as the solid phase target antigen. Does not detect J chain in intact IgM in ELISA assays due to steric hindrance. In Western Blot J1255 detects J chain in IgM only in reducing conditions.
