Has a Kd of 2.8nM in Mn2+, 4.0nM in Ca2+and 2.9nM in buffer lacking cation. Thus, cations do not significantly affect the binding to alphaVbeta5. Does not block ligand binding to purified alphaVbeta5, nor does it block cell adhesion mediated through this receptor.
