In Western Blot of cultured human keratinocytes, 172115-AF reacts with a 120kD protein. It stains the involucrin in a variety of sizes: 170kD in MCF-7 cells, a doublet of ~115kD and 150kD in gorilla and owl monkey, 66kD in canine and a doublet of 105kD in porcine.
