Purity:Purified by Protein A affinity chromatography from tissue culture supernatant.
Form:Supplied as a liquid in PBS, 0.09% sodium azide.
Specificity:Recognizes myeloid cell surface antigen CD33, which is also known as SIGLEC3. The siglecs are a family of membrane bound lectins (of the immunoglobulin superfamily) that bind sialic acid and mediate cell-cell interactions. CD33 is found on granulocyte and macrophage precursors in the bone marrow but not on pluripotent stem cells. CD33 is also expressed on peripheral monocytes. Species Crossreactivity: Human
