Specificity：Binds to the human free C-peptide and C-peptide region in proinsulin molecules. Antigenic determinants identified by Mab are in the three-dimensional structure generated by N- and C-terminal regions of C-peptide separated by beta-turn at position 47-50 of proinsulin. Not crossreactive with human, bovine, porcine and mouse/rat insulin.
