Specificity：Recognized the human Endothelium. Stains all human blood vessels including brain microvessels. Both large and small vessels are equally reactive. Strongly stains murine fibroblasts transfected with the human CD31 gene. On surface-iodinated Jurkat T cells, recognizes the 130kD CD31 antigen. No other structures in the skin, heart, kidney, tonsils or spleen are stained. Species Crossreactivity: Guinea pig and feline. Does not react with rabbit, bovine, sheep, canine, rat or mouse endothelial cells.
