Specificity：Recognizes and neutralizes both natural and recombinant mouse gamma Interferon. Its binding and neutralizing activity has been demonstrated in vitro and in vivo. F3 antibodies have been demonstrated to be able to inhibit inflammatory responses to bacterial lipopolysaccharides. These antibodies were furthermore shown to inhibit Shwartzman reactions and to protect NZB mice against spontaneous development of autoimmune disease. Does not react with rat or human gamma interferon.
