Specificity：Recognizes the 85kD b-chain of human CD91 (LRP/a2MR expressed in a restricted spectrum of cell types. Immunohistochemical reaction is seen in hepatocytes, tissue macrophages, subsets of neurons and astrocytes in the central nervous system, fibroblasts, smooth muscle cells and monocyte-derived foam cells in atherosclerotic lesions in the arterial wall. Species Crossreactivity: rabbit, rat, hamster and mouse.
