Purity：Purified by Protein G affinity chromatography from cell culture supernatants and is routinely tested by flow cytometry on BOSC23 cells transiently transfected with a CEACAM5 expression vector.
Form：Supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.2, 0.01% sodium azide.
Specificity：Broadly reactive antibody which reacts with most of the CEACAM molecules characterized to date (except CEACAM3, CEACAM4 and CEACAM7) (4). Can be used to detect CEACAM1 (BGP/CD66a), CEACAM5 (CEA/CD66e), CEACAM6 (NCA/CD66c) and CEACAM8 (CGM6/CD66b) on transiently transfected BOSC23 cells by flow cytometry. Included and characterized in the studies from the VIth Leucocyte Typing Workshop (4).
