Although this antibody can be used for immunoprecipitations under native conditions, it is not recommended for immunoprecipitating BiP from tomato lysates. Does not cross react with E. coli DnaK, mammalian Hsc70, recombinant hamster BiP or spinach cytosolic Hsc70.
