Purity:Purified by Protein A affinity chromatography.
Form:Supplied as a liquid, before the addition of glycerol to 40%. Labeled with FITC.
Specificity:Recognizes human fetal hemoglobin. Reactivity is seen with human fetal erythrocytes, adult F cells and nucleated red cell precursors containing HbF. Does not crossreact with other forms of human hemoglobin, including HbA, HBA2, HBA1C, HbS and HbE. Binding is not observed in ELISA assays for purified fetal hemoglobin alpha or gamma globulin chains alone, indicating the binding epitope is present on the intact HbF molecule only. Clone 3H326 binding is at a different epitope on fetal hemoglobin from clone 3H327. They have similar binding affinity as measured by Flow Cytometry and ELISA methods.
