Fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC) is a small fluoresent molecule that is commonly conjugated to antibodies for immunofluorescent cell labeling.
In conjunction with anti-FITC antibodies, it can also be used as an epitope tag for detection and signal amplification.
Applications:Suitable for use in the detection of FITC labeled antigens and antibodies, as a capture antibody for FITC labeled bioploymers, ELISA, and as a second enzyme for Immunohistochemistry.
Other applications have not been tested.
Recommended Dilution:Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Hybridoma:Hybridization of SP2/0 myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice.
Affinity Constant:1.5 x 10e-8
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
For long-term storage, aliquot and store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months at -20°C.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
