The antigen is the complement receptor type 4 (CR4).
CD11c is an Alpha/Beta heterodimeric glycoprotein, which belongs to the Beta2 integrin family.
It is also known as gp 150/95.
The CD11c antigen is present on monocytes and in lower density on granulocytes and NK cells.
The antigen is strongly expressed in hairy cell leukemia and in some acute myeloid leukemias.
Anti-Human CD11c may be used to stain monocytes, macrophages and hairy cell leukemia cells.
Applications:Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry.
Other applications have not been tested.
Recommended Dilution:Flow cytometry: 1ug to stain 1x10e6 cells (staining of macrophages in acetone fixed frozen section of human lung, brain, colon, skin, spleen, thymus, and tonsil).
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
For long-term storage, store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months at -20°C.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
