b2-microglobulin non-covalently associates with the 44kD a-chain to form the HLA Class I antigen complex.
Human b2-microglobulin associated with HLA Class I antigens is expressed on many types of cells including lymphocytes, thymocytes, monocytes, granulocytes, platelets, endothelial cells, and epithelial cells.
It is absent on erythrocytes.

Size:200ug
Host:mouse
Source Antibody:human
Grade:Purified
Purity:Purified
Form:Supplied as a lyophilized powder from PBS, 1mg/ml BSA. Reconstitute with 1ml sterile ddH2O.
Specificity:Recognizes human Beta 2-microglobulin (MW 12kD). Does not react with Beta 2-microglobulin from other species. Recognizes the HLA-Beta 2-microglobulin complex, free or associated with the membrane. The exact epitope for the antibody has not been mapped.
