• Human D-dimer (DD), a specific degradation product of cross-linked fibrin, is released into the bloodstream during clot breakdown.
• It is used as an indicator of blood clots, venous thromboses or pulmonary embolisms.
• Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot.
• Other applications have not been tested.
• Recommended Dilutions:Sandwich ELISA: Plasma samples should be diluted with 10mM Tris-HCl buffer, pH 7.5, 1M sodium chloride, 0.1% Tween-20.
• To avoid non-specific binding, the final sodium chloride concentration in plasma samples should be ≥0.5M.
• Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
• Matched Pair:Suitable for use as the capture or solid phase antibody.
• Capture: F4197-23
• Matched to F4197-17 or F4197-18 as the detection or conjugate (label) antibody.
• Hydridoma:Sp2/0 myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice.
• Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
• Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
• Store at -20°C.
• Aliquots are stable for 12 months.
• For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
