Human D-dimer (DD), a specific degradation product of cross-linked fibrin, is released into the bloodstream during clot breakdown.
It is used as an indicator of a blood clots, venous thromboses or pulmonary embolisms.
Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot.
Other applications have not been tested.
Recommended Dilution:Sandwich ELISA: Plasma samples should be diluted with 10mM Tris-HCl buffer, pH 7.5, 1M sodium chloride, 0.1% Tween 20.
To avoid non-specific binding, the final sodium chloride concentration in plasma samples should be ≥ 0.5M.
Western Blot: Non-reducing
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Matched Pair:Suitable for use as the capture or solid phase antibody.
Matched to F4197-17C or F4197-17D, F4197-15 as the detection or conjugate (label) antibody in a 1-step sandwich immunoassay.
Matched to F4197-17, F4197-18 and F4197-20, F4197-17D, F4197-17C as the detection or conjugate (label) antibody in a 2-step
sandwich immunoassay.
Hydridoma:Hybridization of Sp2/0 myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
