特徴
- GAS are non-motile, non-spore forming bacteria that exist in pairs or as short chains.
- They are responsible for most cases of streptococcal illnesses including sore throat (strep thoat), scarlet fever and necrotizing fasciitis.
- The individual organisms are spheric in shape with a diameter of 0.6-1 mm.
- They produce 2 major classes of protein antigens: M antigens and T antigens of which the M protein is the major virulence factor.
- Applications:Suitable for use in whole cell ELISA.
- Other applications not tested.
- Recommended Dilutions:ELISA: 1:20-1:200
- Optimal dilution determined by the researcher.
- Source:Ascites
- Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
- Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
- Store at -20°C.
- Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months.
- For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
