特徴
- bFGF (FGF-2) is a member of a family of seven peptides that are potent regulators of cell proliferation, differentiation and function.
- bFGF stimulates the proliferation of cells of mesodermal origin and many cells of endodermal, ectodermal and neuroectodermal origin.
- bFGF also induces neuron differentiation, survival and regeneration and stimulates astrocyte migration.
- bFGF may also be involved in the production of a variety of pathological conditions arising from excessive cell proliferation.
- Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot.
- Other applications not tested.
- Recommended Dilutions:Western Blot: 1:10,000
- ELISA: 1:8000
- Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
- Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
- Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
- Store at -20°C.
- Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
- For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
