特徴

• IL-13 is an immunoregulatory cytokine produced mainly by T helper 2 cells, but also by mast cells and NK cells.
• IL-13 is a unique cytokine having structural features and functional characteristics with IL-4.
• However, it only shares about 30% homology with the IL-4 sequence.
• IL-13 inhibits IL-1 beta, IL-6, IL-8, and TNF-alpha resulting in anti-inflammatory effects on monocytes and macrophages.
• It also induces B cells to proliferate and isotype-switch to the production of IgE.
• In addition, IL-13 modulates TH2 cell development interfering key roles in the ostracizing of gastrointestinal parasites and in the evolvement of asthma and allergy.
• Applications:Suitable for use in Neutralizing, ELISA, Flow Cytometry, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry.
• Other applications not tested.
• Recommended Dilutions:Western Blot: 5ug/ml.
• Detects 100ng of human IL-13
• Immunohistochemistry: Frozen sections
• Note: Further dilutions should be made in in medium or buffered solutions with a carrier protein such as 1% BSA.
• Optimal dilutions to be determined by researcher.
• Hybridoma:Rat spleen cells fused with P3X63-AG8.653 myeloma
• Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
• Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
• Store at -20°C.
• Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
• For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
