特徴

• TGFa (aa 50) is a growth factor with 33% homology to EGF, binds to EGFR, activates tyrosine phosphorylation of the receptor, and stimulates cell proliferation.
• It plays a role in tumor initiation by inducing the reversible transformed phenotype.
• Overexpression of TGF-alpha may be important for tumor progression via autocrine stimulation and oncogene overexpression.
• TGFa bioactivity is reported in the urine of cancer patients.
• Superb for staining of formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissues.
• Staining is completely blocked by the peptide used for raising this antibody.
• Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot.
• Other applications have not been tested.
• Recommended Dilution:Western Blot: 1-2ug/ml for 2 hrs at RT.
• Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
• Positive Control:A2058 cells and recombinant TGFa protein.
• Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
