Human PgR exists in two forms: 116kD (B-form) and 81kD (A-form).
It acts as ligand activated transcription factor to regulate expression of the target genes.
Null mutation in PgR gene leads to pleiotrophic reproductive abnormalities.
Applications:Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence, Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation and Sedimentation in sucrose gradients.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilutions:Immunoprecipitation (Native): 2ug/mg protein lysate using Protein G.
Western Blot: 1-2ug/ml for 2 hours at RT.
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
