NGF is important for the development, differentiation, and survival of variety of neuronal and non-neuronal cells.
Its action is mediated by binding two distinct receptors, the high affinity p140 and low affinity p75.
Antibodies to NGF receptor may play a role in the identification of benign and malignant soft tissue lesions.
The expression of human nerve growth factor (NGF) receptor in tumors and normal tissue was investigated with the use of a monoclonal antibody recently developed against that protein.
Applications:Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Immunofluorescence and Binding Inhibition.
Not suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry.
Other applications have not been tested.
Recommended Dilution:Binding Inhibition: Use N2050-11X without azide.
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
