Murine anti-mitochondria monoclonal antibody produces a "spaghetti"-like staining pattern in the cytoplasm of normal and malignant human cells.
It can be used to stain the mitochondria in cell or tissue preparations and can be used as a marker of the mitochondria in subcellular fractions.
This monoclonal antibody is part of a new panel of reagents which recognize subcellular organelles or compartments of human cells.
These markers may be useful in identification of these organelles in cells, tissues and biochemical preparations.
Applications:Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry.
Other applications have not been tested.
Recommended Dilutions:Western Blot: 1-2ug/ml for 2 hours at RT.
Immunohistochemistry (Formalin/paraffin); 1-2ug/ml for 30 minutes at RT.
Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires boiling tissue sections in 10mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0 for 10-20 min followed by cooling at RT for 20 minutes.
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
