b2-microglobulin non-covalently associates with the 44 kD a-chain to form the HLA Class I antigen complex.2 Human b2-microglobulin associated with HLA Class I antigens is expressed on many types of cells including lymphocytes, thymocytes, monocytes, granulocytes, platelets, endothelial cells, and epithelial cells.
It is absent on erythrocytes.
Applications:Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry and Immunofluorescence.
Other applications have not been tested.
Recommended Dilution:Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Positive Control:Jurkat cells.
Cellular Localization:Cell membrane.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
