特徴

• c-erbB-2 is a membrane-associated oncoprotein having considerable sequence homology to EGFR.
• C-erbB-2 is the second member of the EGF receptor tyrosine kinase family of growth factor receptors.
• Overexpression of c-erbB-2/HER-2 is reportedly a marker of poor prognosis in node-positive and in defined subsets of node-negative breast cancer.
• Elevated levels of c-erbB-2/HER-2 has also been implicated in response to chemotherapy.
• Applications:Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Immunofluorescence, Immunoprecipitation and Immunohistochemistry.
• Inhibits colony formation and partially inhibits tyrosine kinase activity.
• Other applications have not been tested.
• Recommended Dilution:Immunoprecipitation: 2ug/mg protein lysate (Use Protein G)
• Immunohistochemistry: Frozen only.
• Inhibition: Recommend using C0015-10X (antibody without sodium azide).
• Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
• Source: Ascites
• Positive Control:SKBR-3, LS174T, MAD109 or T47D, and breast carcinomas.
• Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
• For long-term storage, store at -20°C.
• Aliquots are stable for 12 months at -20°C.
• For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
• Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
