Recommended Dilution:Western Blot: 0.5-2ug/ml detects the EGF receptor (unphosphorylated at Y1173) in RIPA lysates from unstimulated HFF cells.
Lysates from EGF stimulated and unstimulated HFF cells, 10ug per lane, were resolved by electrophoresis and transferred to nitro-cellulose.
Lanes 1 and 2 were probed with anti-EGF receptor and visualized using a rabbit anti-sheep secondary antibody conjugated to HRP.
Lanes 3 and 4 were probed with anti-EGF-R (non-phospho-Y1173) (1ug/ml) and visualized using a goat anti-mouse secondary antibody conjugated to HRP.
A chemiluminescence detection system was used.

Immunoprecipitation: 1-10ug of this antibody is reported to immunoprecipitate the EGF receptor (unphosphorylated at Y1173) from 10e6 vanadate treated A431 cells.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
