特徴

• Bin1 is a ubiquitously expressed protein that interacts with the N-terminal region of the oncoprotein Myc.
• It inhibits cell transformation by Myc and has been implicted in Myc-mediated apoptosis.
• Bin1 is structurally related to amphiphysin, a breast cancer associated autoimmune antigen, and RVS167, a negative regulator of cell cycle in yeast.
• Bin1 is frequently absent in carcinoma cells and the gene maps to a hot spot for deletion in prostate cancer.
• Thus Bin1 has the features of a tumor suppressor and may play a role in apoptosis or cell cycle regulation.
• Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, Immunoprecipitaton and Immunohistochemistry.
• Other applications have not been tested.
• Recommended Dilutions:Western Blot: 0.5-2ug/ml detects Bin1 in a RIPA lysate of cells.
• Immunohistochemistry: Gives positive staining for Bin1 in C2C12, LNCap, HeLa, and Rat1 cells.
• Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
