特徴

• The Na,K-ATPase is an integral membrane protein complex responsible for establishing the electrochemical gradients of Na+ and K+ ions across the plasma membranes of mammalian cells.
• The enzyme consists of an a and b subunit, both of which exist as isoforms.
• The a subunit is believed to be the catalytically active subunit, while the b subunit appears necessary for the assembly and transport of the sodium pump to the plasma membrane.
• The beta subunit is a membrane spanning glycoprotein present in all cell types.
• The antigenic determinant of this antibody has been mapped to the ectodomain (approximate residues 62-304) of the beta subunit.
• Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry, Other applications not tested.
• Recommended Dilutions:Western Blot: 0.5-2ug/ml detects ATPase beta 1, Na, K in 20ug of rat brain microsomal preparation.
• A previous lot detected ATPase beta 1, Na, K using rat heart and rat kidney microsomal preparations.
• Rat brain microsomal preparation was resolved by electrophoresis, transferred to PVDF.
• Proteins were visualized using an IgG (HRP) goat anti-mouse secondary antibody and a chemiluminescence detection system.
• Immunohistochemistry: 10ug/ml on 4% paraformaldehyde fixed tissue.
• Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
• Hybridoma:Ag8 mouse myeloma cells with immunized Balb/c splenocytes.
• Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
• Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
• Store at -20°C.
• Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
• For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
