This gene encodes the phosphatase 2A catalytic subunit.
Protein phosphatase 2A is one of the four major Ser/Thr phosphatases, and it is implicated in the negative control of cell growth and division.
It consists of a common heteromeric core enzyme, which is composed of a catalytic subunit and a constant regulatory subunit, that associates with a variety of regulatory subunits.
This gene encodes an alpha isoform of the catalytic subunit.
Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunoprecipitation.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilutions:Western Blot: 1:1000 detected the C-subunit of PP2A in RIPA lysates from A431 cells.
A431 cell lysate was resolved by electrophoresis, transferred to PVDF and treated with P9107-34D.
Proteins were visualized using an IgG (HRP) goat anti-mouse secondary antibody and a chemiluminescence detection system.
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
