特徴
- Herpes Simplex virus (HSV) is a double stranded DNA virus of which there are 2 types, HSV1 and HSV2.
- HSV1 usually establishes latency in the trigeminal ganglion, a collection of nerve cells near the ear.
- From there, it tends to recur on the lower lip or face causing cold sores.
- HSV2 usually resides in the sacral ganglion at the base of the spine.
- From there, it recurs in the genital area.
- Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot, ELISA, and
- Immunofluorescence.
- Other applications not tested.
- Recommended Dilutions:Optimal dilution determined by the researcher.
- Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
- Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
- Store at -20°C.
- Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
- For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
