特徴

• Serotonin (5-hydroxytryptamine), MW 176, is a catecholamine , a monoamine neurotransmitter, found in abundance in the central nervous system, platelets, brain and spinal cord as well as secreted by enterochromaffin cells (EC) in the stomach, intestines, appendix and in endocrine cells along the gut and in carcinoid tumors.
• Platelets and mast cells are rich in serotonin.
• Applications:Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence, Immunohistochemistry and Red Cell Aggutination.
• Other applications have not been tested.
• Recommended Dilutions:Immunohistochemistry: Formalin-fixed tissues
• Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
• Storage and Stability:Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C.
• Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O.
• Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
• Store at -20°C.
• For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
• Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
