Parainfluenza 1 (HPIV-1) is an enveloped single-stranded RNA virus of the Paramyxoviridae family.
Parainfluenza viruses are genetically and antigenically divided into the four types HPIV1-4, with HPIV-1, -2 and -3 being major causative agents of lower respiratory infections in the young and immunologically vulnerable.
Applications:Suitable for use in Indirect Immunofluorescence and ELISA.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilutions:ELISA: 1:20-1:200
Indirect mmunofluorescence: 1:10-1:50
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
