IMDM is a serum-free medium formulation for general use. The medium isderived from DMEM containing selenium along with additional amino acids and other components. The SFM is supplied complete, ready to use with L-glutamine, Hepes, BPE and EGF for culturing a wide range of cell types. SFM-IMDM does not contain phenol red or antibiotics.
Ready-to-use with all necessary growth factors. Antibiotic-free.
Storage and Stability:For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and freeze at -70°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt.
