特徴

• Distributive alpha-N-methyltransferase that methylates the N-terminus of target proteins containing the N-terminal motif [Ala/Gly/Pro/Ser]-Pro-Lys when the initiator Met is cleaved. Specifically catalyzes mono-, di- or tri-methylation of the exposed alpha-amino group of the Ala, Gly or Ser residue in the [Ala/Gly/Ser]-Pro-Lys motif and mono- or di-methylation of Pro in the Pro-Pro-Lys motif. Some of the substrates may be primed by METTL11B-mediated monomethylation.

• Biological Activity:Measured by its binding ability in a functional ELISA. Immobilized CCL5 at 2ug/ml can bind human NTMT1, the EC50 of human NTMT1 protein is 3.029-5.404μg/ml.

• Storage and Stability:Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 6 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
