特徴

• Produced by lymphocytes activated by specific antigens or mitogens. IFN-gamma, in addition to having antiviral activity, has important immunoregulatory functions. It is a potent activator of macrophages, it has antiproliferative effects on transformed cells and it can potentiate the antiviral and antitumor effects of the type I interferons.
• Partial recombinant protein corresponding to aa24-166 from human Interferon-gamma, expressed in E. coli.

• Biological Activity:Fully biologically active when compared to standard. The ED50 as measured in anti-viral assays using human HeLa cells infected with encephalomyocarditis (EMC) virus is 0.15-0.80ng/ml.

• Storage and Stability:Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
