• CD47, also known as leukocyte surface antigen CD47 isoform 1, has a role in both cell adhesions by acting as an adhesion receptor for THBS1 on platelets, and in the modulation of integrins. It plays an important role inmemory formation and synaptic plasticity in the hippocampus. Receptor for SIRPA prevents maturation of immature dendritic cells and inhibits cytokine production by mature dendritic cells.

• Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
