特徴

• SHP-2, also known as, tyrosine-protein phospatase non-receptor type 11(PTPN11), is a member of the protein tyrosine phosphatase (PTP) family containing two Src homology 2 domains. This protein dephosphorylates tyrosine residues in proteins. It plays a stimulatory role in activation of the Erk/MAP kinase pathway by receptor tyrosine kinase signaling. Mutations in this protein are a cause of Noonan syndrome as well as acute myeloid leukemia.

• Biological Activity:Specific activity is ＞ 400unit/mg, and is defined as the amount of enzyme that hydrolyze 1.0nmole of pnitrophenyl phosphate (pNPP) per minute at pH 7.5 at 37C.
• Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
