• IFN-alpha/beta R2, also known as IFNAR2, is a member of the class II cytokine receptor family. This protein is the principal ligand binding subunit of the receptor. Ligand bindnig is stabilized by the subsequent association with IFNAR1 and forms the signaling compelx recptor. It also plays the role in STAT1, STAT2, and STAT3 activation.

• Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
