Source:Recombinant protein corresponding to aa2-406 from human TDO, fused to His-Tag at N-terminal, expressed in E.coli.
Molecular Weight:~49kD
Applications:Suitable for use in the study of enzyme kinetics, substrate specificity, and screening inhibitors. Other applications not tested.
Assay Conditions:All of the reactions were conducted at room temperature. The 100ul reaction mixture in TDO2 Assay Buffer contains 50nM TDO2, 500uM tryptophan, and the coupled reaction components. The reaction mixture incubated for up to 120min while reading the UV absorption signal. Absorption signals were measured using a Tecan Infinite M1000 plate reader.
Recommended Dilution:Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -70°C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
