Inhibitory cell surface receptor involved in the regulation of T-cell function during immunity and tolerance. Upon ligand binding, inhibits T-cell effector functions in an antigen-specific manner. Possible cell death inducer, in association with other factors.
Source:Recombinant protein corresponding to aa25–167 from human PD-1, fused at the C-terminus to the Fc portion of human IgG1 and with a C-terminal Avi-Tag, expressed in HEK293 cells.

Assay Conditions:Briefly, 50 ul of 2ug/ml PD-L1 was coated onto plates. 20ul of 0.5ug/ml PD-1, Biotin-labeled was allowed to bind at room temp. for 2 hours. Strep-HRP was added and allowed to incubate at room temp for 1 hr, followed by HPR chemiluminescent substrate addition and plate reading.
Applications:Suitable for use in the study of protein-protein interaction and in vitro and in vivo protein function. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -70°C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
