• IL-2, also known as T cell growth factor (TCGF), is an immunoregulatory lymphokine produced by T-cells in response to antigenic or mitogenic stimulation. Il-2/ Il-2R signaling is required for T-cell proliferationand other fundamental functions which are essential for the immune response. IL-2 stimulates growth and differentiation of B-cells, NK cells, lymphokine activated killer cells, monocytes, macrophages and oligodendrocytes.

• Applications:Suitable for use in Bioactivity and SDS-PAGE. Other applications not tested.
• Recommended Dilution:Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
• Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
