• IFN-alpha/beta R1, also known as interferon alpha/beta receptor 1 (IFNAR1), is a member of the class II cytokine receptor family of proteins that form heterodimeric receptor complexes. These receptors are shared and served multiple functions. IFNAR1 and IFNBR1, in association with IFNAR2 and IFNBR2, is required for propagating anti-microbial signal transduction triggered by the type 1 interferons such as IFN-alpha and IFN-beta. Also, binding and activation of it stimulates Janus protein kinases, which in turn phosphorylate several proteins, including STAT1 and STAT2.

For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
