The Activating Transcription Factor 3 (ATF-3) BioAssay™ ELISA Kit (Mouse) is a quantitative sandwich assay for the detection of ATF-3 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and other biological fluids.
Sensitivity:9.375pg/ml
Detection Range:15.625-1000pg/ml
Specificity:This assay has high sensitivity and excellent specificity for detection of mouse ATF-3. No significant cross-reactivity or interference between ATF-3 and analogues was observed.
Precision:Intra-Assay: CV<8%Inter-Assay: CV<10%
Test Principle:This ELISA kit employs the sandwich enzyme-linked immune-sorbent assay technology. Anti-ATF-3 antibody was pre-coated onto 96-well plates. The biotin conjugated anti-ATF-3 antibody was used as detection antibodies. The standards, test samples and biotin conjugated detection antibody were added to the wells subsequently, and washed with wash buffer. HRP-Streptavidin was added and unbound conjugates were washed away with wash buffer. TMB substrates were used to visualize HRP enzymatic reaction. TMB was catalyzed by HRP toproduce a blue color product that changed into yellow after adding acidic stop solution. The density of yellow is proportional to the ATF-3 amount of sample captured in plate. Read the O.D. absorbance at 450nm in a microplate reader, and then the concentration of ATF-3 can be calculated.
Storage and Stability:Store unopened kit at 4ºC; store at -20ºC once opened. Store unopened standard at 4°C; once reconstituted, store at 4°C for up to 12 hours or at -20°C for up to 48 hours. Store other components at 4°C. Kit is stable for 6 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vials after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
